用途：人血清白蛋白是我国一线大宗临床用药。在临床上广泛应用于治疗因失血引起的休克、肝硬化腹水、各类水肿、烧伤、烫伤及外科手术以及癌症和艾滋病的辅助治疗等方面。
市场需求
目前我国人血清白蛋白完全从血浆中提取，因血浆供应严重不足，由血浆提取的人血清白蛋白只能满足市场需求的1/3。实际上我国白蛋白市场需求量已经超过420吨（市场价值240亿以上），其中主要依赖进口和国内供应仅有300吨左右的白蛋白，市场缺口有近百余吨（市场价值近60亿人民币）。而国内供应量仅在150吨左右，截至2016年白蛋白对进口的依赖达到近58％。
随着我国人民生活水平的提高，卖血或献血的人群会越来越少，而对白蛋白的需求日益上升。目前我国人血白蛋白的人均消耗量为发达国家的50%左右，用量有1倍的增长空间，近来年需求量以年复合增长率10%逐年升高。市场对人血清白蛋白的旺盛需求必将进一步加剧血浆供应的紧张，人血清白蛋白的供需矛盾将更加突出。因此，人血清白蛋白被卫生部列为具有培育重大产品、满足重大需求、解决重点问题的生物药“三重”品种。
